SUP Yoga is a combination of Stand Up Paddling and Yoga, the emphasis on core stability is a wonderful addition to the yoga workout and the paddling experience. The peacefulness of floating on the water combines nicely with the meditative nature of yoga. In this class you will be provided with an on shore yoga lesson to provide you with the skills needed to take your yoga on to the water. Once on the water enjoy the freedom to move and be moved on our 'moving mat'.

*Sessions will be adjusted to best suit the group based on level of paddling and level of yoga.*

Pre-Booked SUP Yoga Group Lessons

Pre-Book your SUP Yoga lesson and get one on one attention in your fully customized private lesson, or bring your friends and learn together for less. SUP Yoga lessons will be focussed on Yoga and not on paddling skills. This session will include on shore yoga and on water yoga.

Lesson Notes

RESTRICTIONS: Lesson must be pre-booked and paid for online. Exceptions will be made if individuals would like to pay by cheque, on-site. Invoices will be produced for any group bookings. All students must be 16 years of age or older. No refunds or exchanges on lessons. In the case of inclement weather an alternate date for your lesson will be provided, SUP Vancouver will do it's best to accommodate all students by offering alternate dates/times in order to fulfill your lesson booking.

All Lessons
Please arrive 15 minutes before lesson to get fitted with the right size board and paddle and get ready to SUP.

What to bring?
Yourself ***please leave things you don?t want to get wet at home or on shore ? cell phones, cameras etc

What to wear?
FIRST CHECK THE WEATHER - theweathernetwork.ca

Layered clothing is best, from shorts & t-shirts to long sleeves & long pants with wind jacket & wind pants. Hats and gloves are also great add ons on windy/cool days. Wetsuits, footwear etc is NOT provided. You 'may' get wet so a change of clothes is always recommended!
